Vanessa Avila serves as the Director of Financial Planning and Client Reporting at Carpion Private Wealth, bringing nearly two decades of experience across multiple facets of the financial services industry. At Carpion, she plays a pivotal role in delivering insightful financial planning solutions and transparent, high-quality client reporting that empowers informed decision-making. Before joining Carpion, Vanessa was the Director of Client Reporting at a prominent asset management firm overseeing close to $1 billion in assets under management. In that role, she led the development and execution of portfolio accounting systems, data integrity protocols, and performance reporting processes, ensuring clients received accurate, timely, and actionable insights. Vanessa is known for her attention to detail, strategic thinking, and commitment to building long-lasting client relationships rooted in trust and transparency. Her leadership helps ensure that Carpion’s planning and reporting processes remain best-in-class, aligning with the firm’s mission to deliver personalized, forward-thinking wealth management.

 

Vanessa earned her degree in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin, where she's also a proud supporter of the athletics program. Outside of work, she volunteers as Vice President of AUsome Moms, a local autism nonprofit. In her free time, Vanessa enjoys weightlifting and baking elaborate desserts. She lives in Lewisville with her husband, two children, and two dogs.
